Yong Yong in Trier

I know this place since it opened. It grew since then and they held on to their simple, yet very efficient principles. Friendly staff. Fresh food prepared with care and with much consideration for the customer. The soups are simply delicious, the Bo Bun salad divine. I wish I could eat all the dishes! And get the sandwich on top of them as a take away. Do not change anything! Everything is perfect!

Fresh, very tasty food !! Not a huge menu, but every single dish is sooo delicious that the selection is still difficult. However, it is quite expensive, otherwise would eat there more often. Give full marks anyway!

My favourite place in Trier! I stop by here every time I am around. Love their coconut curry noodle soup with chicken & veggies. Cheesecake or any other cake they have with a house blend coffee is a must too! Staff is always friendly and attentive. Even though it might seem a bit pricey at a first glance, it is totally worth it!

Be sure to try the soups. The spring rolls are also recommended. Here you can still taste the fresh ingredients.

We enjoyed it, the beef broth from the wall map was ok, did not knock me off the stool, but had all the ingredients fresh and I had enough. The Poké Bowl, however, was awesome. I ordered salmon, but I get tofu. Did not complain, but given the tofu ne chance. Extremely delicious. My companion had the regular curry coconut curry soup. Also very tasty. - The highlight was the delicious cappuccino and lime tart !!!! It's worth the way alone.

Wow! I’m very picky and this place has the best Wine and Coffee in entire city (their food is amazing). It’s a hidden gem.

Came here for the coffee, stayed for the food! Cosy place where the food is exceptionally good, as well as the coffee.

Apart from the excellent cappuccino, unfortunately I can not say much about the shop. Although the Poke looked great, there was not enough content in the bowl. It was ordered the normal size, and thus the largest available size. The price of 14 € is totally covered in my opinion. Some may argue that expensive ingredients like avocado are in it. Yes that's true, but this has been present at most with 1/6 of an avocado, if any. In addition, even slightly brown spots could be seen in this. So not completely fresh or bad bought. The other ingredients were ok and tasted good too. Questionable, why not simply make more than four tablespoons of rice at the price, so that people do not complain afterwards about too small portions. Costs only a few cents ... The store inside really looks like "concept store", or just "cheap", depending on how you look at it. It is certainly beautiful that wine lovers will get their money, although I can not say anything here. Since I did not try the other coffees, I can not say that, but as I said, my cappuccino was great. You could even choose two different coffees. However, this was also a bit small. There are also Acessoires sold for the preparation of coffee, but they seem to me overpriced. 35 € for a coffee filter? The things cost 50 cents from plastic or 5 € to 10 € if it may be a bit higher quality. Although in the first case may not be hip "concept store ceramics" or "hip", but fulfill the same purpose. The people who have too much money are certainly right in the store. Note that the store is split in two, with two separate inputs. I will certainly not go back to dinner there.

🥢A poke at the @yongyongtrier🥢 I like the design of this asian restaurant (next time I make some photos), they combine food with a design shop. Also it's great that the taste of the food is like homemade and it seems to consist less or none instant products like asian food in normal restaurants. . 🤔 Let's speak about the disadvantages now. I was here the second time and both times the portions were too small for the price. The food was fresh, but both times it tasted a bit boring. This time the combination was quite interesting like mango, nori and ananas, but something was still missing. Cannot explane what exact. . Maybe I will come here again because it's really important for me to eat fresh and homemade food. I just hope that it will be a bit tastier 🙂

Unfortunately we did not like it "it was extremely fishy", vlt had made a wrong choice, but there was not much to choose from. The condition was mega friendly !!

Great service, fresh food, good price. We were lucky enough to sit outside, on a beautiful warm evening, as the sun was setting. The candles on the table gave a really nice ambiance. Very happy with the soup that we ordered, and would definitely recommend.

If you love lemon grass soup, you'll likely enjoy this place. I've tried ramen noodles in Japan, which appear similar - but tastes better than this from my point of view. The atmosphere is a bit "bio/green/fairtrade" style - though I did not see such explicit branding. It's fairly popular during lunch. They also appear to sell some expensive Nordic designer clocks that are displayed on their walls (with price tags).

Very, very tasty! Have been there a few times and will definitely eat there again. In addition to the always friendly service, the pleasant atmosphere and the successful design of the furnishings, the authentic style of the kitchen with fresh ingredients is particularly noticeable. Best noodle soup in town

I can surely give at least 4 stars for its food, service, and atmosphere. The terrible thing is that they do not take any payment other than cash and German bank cards. And as a customer, I had to walk 10mins to cash out at ATM. Call me overreacting, I don't think this type of mentality would take the local economy much further in the new world. Be sure you have enough cash or using a German card.

Very good Vietnamese food for Trier, especially the Banh Mi, which is much closer to authentic than I would expect in a city of this size. Definitely recommended.
